Hey there! I’m Olivia, a home cook and the voice behind Stumbling Goat Bistro. Here you’ll find unique recipes that offer fresh twists on classic dishes, drawing inspiration from global flavors.
I grew up on the coast of Maine and was surrounded by the fresh catch and the warmth of home cooking. My mother’s traditional approach to mealtimes, using what was in season, ignited my lifelong love for food and kitchen.
After high school, I attended a culinary arts program which taught me about flavor and the power of hospitality to bring people together. I then moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where I helped open a boutique eatery known for its unique twists on Southern cuisine.
A few years later a job opportunity took me to Seattle, where I live now as a stay-at-home mom. Juggling a growing family life has been equally rewarding and challenging.
Looking ahead, I have plans for launching a small scale catering company. In the meantime, Stumbling Goat Bistro is my passion-project where I share my evolving collection of recipes and kitchen tips. I hope you’ll have a good time here and find recipes that become your favorite!
